Deney grubuna 100 g kuru madde ba\u015f\u0131na 0,3 g b\u00fctirat katk\u0131l\u0131 s\u00fct form\u00fcl\u00fc verilmi\u015ftir. Elde edilen verilere g\u00f6re, s\u00fct form\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fcn b\u00fctirat ile desteklenmesinin, yeni do\u011fan domuz yavrular\u0131nda ba\u011f\u0131rsak mukozas\u0131n\u0131n daha iyi geli\u015fmesine katk\u0131da bulundu\u011fu g\u00f6zlenmi\u015ftir [10]. Kolon l\u00fcmeninde uygun fizyolojik konsantrasyonda b\u00fctirik asidin bulunmas\u0131, v\u00fccut taraf\u0131ndan bakteri dengesinin bozulmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilgisi olarak yorumlan\u0131r, bu da kommensal bakterileri temsil eden binlerce antijene kar\u015f\u0131 ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131k tepkisini ve tolerans\u0131 azalt\u0131r ve dolay\u0131s\u0131yla bakteri olu\u015fumunun inflamatuar s\u00fcrecinin ba\u015flamas\u0131n\u0131 engeller. Proktokolektomi sonras\u0131 hastalarda b\u00fctirat\u0131n faydal\u0131 etkisi de g\u00f6sterilmi\u015ftir.
